e-Debit

Hong Leong Bankcard (ATM Card) holders can enjoy a new payment service that allow them to pay conveniently while shopping or dining via MEPS e-Debit .

What is e-Debit?

	e-Debit is an online transaction authorisation at Point Of Sale (POS) application.
	The Hong Leong Bankcard holder can pay for the purchase of goods and services at participating retail outlets nationwide displaying the "Bankcard" logo.
	The purchase amount will be deducted directly from the Savings or Current account selected by the customer. It is convenient as no physical cash is involved.
	Customers are required to key in their Hong Leong Bankcard ATM PIN during the e-Debit purchase transaction.

How to perform e-Debit Purchase?

Step 1

Look for POS (Point Of Sale) terminals which display the "Bankcard" logo at any of the participating retail outlets.

Handover the Hong Leong Bankcard to the Cashier who will insert the card into the POS Terminal card slot.

Step 2

The cashier will key in the purchase amount and pass the POS Terminal to the customer for the account selection. Customer will select the designated Savings or Current account to be debited for the payment.

Step 3

Customer to key in the Hong Leong Bankcard ATM PIN and confirm with "Enter" button.

System will process the transaction and approve or reject the transaction.

Collect the Hong Leong Bankcard, transaction receipt printed and sale slip.

Note : Only for successful transaction, the slip will be printed.
